TAM was founded in May, 1995. Brian started on the fixed-income side of the business as a credit \/ fixed-income analyst, doing credit research for a smaller Chicago broker-dealer and then for Stein Roe &amp; Farnham, from 1992 \u2013 1995, before striking out on his own managing money for individual investors. Brian attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, graduating in May, 1982 with a BSBA (Finance), and then attended Loyola University of Chicago, graduating with an MBA in January, 1985.
